The first and most important step of any surgical procedure is the consultation with the patient. Unfortunately, this is a phase that many dental clinics neglect, while for us it is the top priority.
During the consultation, it is essential to listen carefully to the patient's history and conduct a detailed anamnesis. At this stage, we gather all information regarding the patient's health status, systemic diseases, medications being taken, allergies, previous procedures, and any other factors that may affect the surgical treatment. A thorough anamnesis allows us to plan each intervention safely and in a personalized way for every patient.
After completing the anamnesis, we proceed with radiological examination. At Dental Health, we use CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) technology, which enables a three-dimensional analysis of anatomical structures and highly accurate surgical planning.
The majority of our patients come from Italy, and the procedures we perform most frequently include full-mouth rehabilitations with All-on-4 and All-on-6, sinus lift, dental implants, as well as pterygoid and zygomatic implants, which are used in more complex cases of bone deficiency.
A key element that sets Dental Health apart is that no surgical procedure is ever performed without the presence of an anesthesiologist-reanimator. All procedures are carried out under conscious sedation, which not only ensures the patient's comfort and calmness during the operation but also guarantees maximum safety in the event of any potential complications. Every patient is continuously monitored by the anesthesiologist throughout the entire procedure.
Once the patient is prepared, the surgical procedure is performed by Dr. Shukri Jahiu, an oral surgeon with over 20 years of experience in the field of dentistry and implantology.
Within 24 hours of the surgery, temporary teeth are fabricated and placed, allowing the patient to restore both function and aesthetics in a very short time. This is a service that Dental Health provides entirely in-house, thanks to the on-site dental laboratory. This enables direct communication between the surgeon and the dental technician, better quality control, and significantly faster turnaround time for prosthetic work.
